โ€ข ยฝ cup (80g) rainbow sprinkles (jimmies)

  1. Preheat oven to 175ยฐC (350ยฐF) and grease two 8-inch round pans.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light & fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla. Stir in sour cream.
  5. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk, starting & ending with flour.
  6. Gently fold in sprinkles.
  7. Divide batter evenly between pans.
  8. Bake for 25โ€“30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
