โ€ข 4โ€“6 tablespoons milk or heavy cream

Instructions

1. Prepare the Cake Batter
1. Preheat oven to 175ยฐC (350ยฐF).
2. Grease and line three 8-inch cake pans.
3. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
4. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
5. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
6. Add the flour mixture alternately with milk until the batter is smooth.
7. Gently fold in the confetti sprinkles.

2. Bake the Cake
1. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
2. Bake for 25โ€“30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
3. Allow cakes to cool completely before frosting.

3. Make the Chocolate Frosting
1. Beat butter until creamy.
2. Add powdered sugar and cocoa powder gradually.
3. Mix in melted chocolate, vanilla, salt, and milk.
4. Beat until smooth and fluffy.

4. Assemble the Cake
1. Place the first cake layer on a cake board.
2. Spread chocolate frosting on top.
3. Add the second and third layers with frosting between each layer.
4. Cover the entire cake with chocolate frosting.
5. Decorate with extra confetti sprinkles.
